The Evolution of a TV Spot

The Water’s Edge TV spot went through a typical series of evolutional steps from initial rough draft to the final approved version. Below are links to view the five staged of the spot for your evaluation and amusement.

Version One: includes place-holder voiceover and music track selection #1. We tried to determine how many shots we could fit in before becoming too rushed. We determined six was too many.

Version Two: includes professional voiceover read by Alicia Kaye, music track selection #2 and a trimmed-down shot selection.

Version Three: includes music track selection #3, new photography for the ending graphics and and new transition treatment going into the ending.

Version Four: includes music track selection #4 and an alternate transition treatment going into the ending.

Version Five: includes updated fonts, a third transition treatment going into the ending, the addition of the Equal Housing Opportunity logo and a finessing of all the graphics, logos and text placements. We’re almost there!

Final Version: includes resized ending graphics, anti-aliasing filters on the text, a slight motion blur on the building photo and a final audio mix. This version is currently airing on Brighthouse Networks cable in Pinellas Country.
